This artwork was made by Helmut Fricker, a long-time Vail, Colorado resident. In 1988, he donated this artwork to the Colorado Snowsports Museum during our Hall of Fame gala. The item was intended for display at the former Museum. It was stored since then at the Museum and brought down to our resource center in 2020. This plaque was put on display by Vail Resorts at the Legacy Hut for the 2022/2023 ski season and Vail's 60th anniversary. |
