Elan Ibex84 Tactix skis - 120.84.105. White with gray, black, and various other color details. Specialty skis created by Elan, a Slovenian company located in Begunje na Gorenjskem, for the Slovenian Mountain Troops. These skis are folding skis for ease of entry and exit from helicopters and the ability to backpack with skis. They have specialty graphics for the Slovenian and United States mountain troops. On the tail of the skis, there are two black and white photos. On one ski, there is a dedication to the 10th Mountain Division showing their logo and a photo of 10th Mountain soldiers with text that reads: "Inspired by legends since 1945." The photo here was taken on Mt. Mangart, The other ski has the Slovenian Organization of Mountain Soldier logo and shows a photo of a mountain scape on the tail - likely showing the Alps. "Inspired by legends since 1945." is also printed on this ski near the photo of the mountains. Tips have a V like cut at the center. Bases are white. Skis are binding ready, but none have been mounted. |
